This 1923 patio was enclosed during a 1960 remodel, creating a multi-purpose room used for studying, social events and meetings. The new renovation offers a functional and versatile space while incorporating historic details, including box-beamed and beadboard ceilings, French doors and window panels, wicker furniture, and a herringbone-patterned porcelain tile floor. Custom tables were designed to accommodate a variety of table arrangements; swag drum lights can be easily repositioned to light the changing table configurations. A new ceiling fan with reversible rotation keeps the room cool in summer and warm in winter.
