Once dark and dated, this compact galley kitchen became functional and stylish . . . all within the existing footprint. The windows were enlarged to take advantage of the lovely view of the backyard gardens, and custom cabinets were designed to provide maximum storage in the limited space.

Authentic to the era, the signature mid-century coved ceilings and soffits were preserved. Doorways were expanded to improve traffic flow and arched to match the originals. Even the 1950s doorbell was preserved and re-plated.
